This is Kaelyn (pardon the cheeseface, she's 3) and me when David got home from his most recent deployment.
This is David and me, enjoying our first few moments together, after his deployment.
Kaelyn and her Daddy. She is SUCH a Daddy's girl!
I'm so excited! I just got in contact with Rick Cooper about getting a racing wheelchair so I can start competing in half-marathons. While I was talking to him, we were talking about all the various wheelchair sports that are available. Then he mentioned wheelchair softball. Y'all, I am SOOOOO thrilled! This is the sport I am a national champion in. I miss playing softball like someone might miss their arm if it were cut off. I'm going up to Dallas in February to get fitted for my racing chair and will find out more about the softball teams then. Y'all just don't even know how excited I am about this!
